The conference committee would like to invite authors to submit papers on the specific sub-themes and others that fall within the scope of the conference. However, papers to be presented in this conference must have not been presented, accepted or published elsewhere.

All submitted papers will be subjected to a strict review process.

Authors are requested to submit the full paper (Word format) via online submission facility

Paper Instructions

The guideline explains how to prepare your paper in printer ready format for the conference, so that its appearance is clear and consistent with the other papers in proceedings

It includes guidance on layout, illustrations, text styles and references, presented exactly as your paper should appear

  • papers are accepted in English language only
  • range to 8 pages including appendix and references
  • processing in the text editor MS Word 6.0/95 or higher
  • author's first and last name (no titles), name of your university or company, address, city, ZIP code, country, telephone number, author's email
  • abstract - max. 250 words
  • key words - max. 5 words
It is highly advised to use conference paper template and strictly follow the instructions to prepare your paper in Microsoft Word.

Types of Submissions

Abstracts: Abstracts of completed paper, extended abstract or proposed research in any of the topic areas listed or related areas. The abstract for proposed research should include the research objectives, proposed methodology, and a discussion of expected outcomes. It should not have more than 600 words.

Extended Abstracts: The Extended Abstract is a work in progress research or project that is not yet completed. The extended abstract should not exceed 2 pages (including introduction, body of knowledge and conclusion, supported by not more than 10 references).

Full Research Papers: Completed research papers in any of the topic areas listed in the scope of conference or related areas. This is a completed research work or project): A total of 4 to 6 pages for a paper (including all figures, tables, and references.

Student Papers: Research done by students in any of the topic areas listed in the scope of conference, or related areas.

Case Studies: Case studies in any of the topic areas listed in the scope of conference, or related areas. Case studies should not exceed 4 pages including introduction, body of knowledge and conclusion, supported by not more than 10 references.

Work-in-Progress (Reports or Proposals for Future Research): Incomplete research or ideas for future research in order to generate discussion and feedback in any of the topic areas listed above, or related areas. A total of 4 to 6 pages for a work-in-progress reports or proposals for future research including all figures, tables, and references.

Format of Presentations

Paper sessions will consist of four or five presentations in a session. You are expected to present your paper within 20 minutes including question time. The session will be divided equally between the presenters. Each presenter will be expected to have the presentation slides in Microsoft Power Point saved in CD or USB.

Workshop presentations will be given a full session. The style of the presentation depends on the decision by the session chair. Some workshops may contain paper presentation, while others may base their workshop on recent research breaking ground outcome in the form of discussion, or exploratory research work.

Panel sessions will provide an opportunity for three or more presenters to speak in a more open and conversational setting with conference attendees. Submissions for these sessions should include the name, department, affiliation, and email address of each panellist in addition to a description of the presentation and the title page.

Note:The following resources will be available for presentations: flipcharts, laptops, projectors and screens.

Virtual Presentation (Video Conferencing)

We understand that some presenters will not be unable to make the trip to present their research paper, case study, work in progress and report. The Conference committee has therefore instituted a virtual presentation system to allow the authors of accepted papers the same publication opportunities as regular presenters. A research work submitted without the participant attending the conference in person, but presented via video conferencing are refereed and published (if accepted) in the conference proceedings.
